To vegan? Or not?

In the past 6 months I have been having some weird kidney problems ish. Kidney stones, puking my guts out, pain in my side, infections etc. It's been really frustrating because I exercise regularly, drink plenty of water, avoid soda as much as possible, and eat a fairly healthy diet. After researching how to keep my kidney's healthy I have come across many benefits of following a vegetarian diet. Not only is this good for your kidneys but also beneficial to your body as a whole. Many people follow a vegetarian diet because of numerous reasons and opinions. Some of these include: protecting and saving animal's lives, restoring the natural environment in which we live, maintaining a healthier diet that positively affects your body on a long-term basis, among many others.

I have decided to start slowly incorporating a vegetarian diet within mine and hopefully be able to have a more disciplined diet. In the first week, I will be trying it out on a few meals and slowly implementing it more and more into my daily diet and routine. The hardest thing for me will most likely be preparing non-vegetarian diets for my husband while eating a separate meal. I will post my progress, opinions and any changes I make as I experience the effects it has on me physically and mentally.
